Susan E. Lott
Dr. Lott joined the Department of Evolution and Ecology at UC Davis as an assistant professor in the Fall of 2012.
She was a postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley in Michael Eisen’s Lab, working on sex specific expression and X chromsomal dosage compensation in the Drosophila embryo, and developing methods to do mRNA-Sequencing on single embryos. She got her Ph.D. in the lab of Martin Kreitman at the University of Chicago, investigating variation and evolution in segmentation in Drosophila embryogenesis relative to genetic variation in egg size.
