In general, we are always looking for motivated and dedicated researchers who are interested in our broad evolutionary and genetic questions, especially those who love or can learn to love flies. Postdoctoral Fellows
Openings for postdocs are currently dependent on funding, those interested should contact Dr. Lott directly, with a CV and a description of your research.
Graduate students
Graduate students at UC Davis are admitted via interdisciplinary Graduate Groups. The Lott lab is affiliated with the Population Biology Graduate Group, the Integrative Genetics and Genomics Graduate Group, and the Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Graduate Group. Applicants interested in the Lott lab should apply through one or more of these graduate groups, and may contact Dr. Lott directly.
Undergraduate research
We have filled all our openings for undergraduate researchers at this time. In the future, we will once again have openings for undergraduate researchers who are interested in our research questions, experimental methods, and model system.
